Kinexus is expanding its Cyber Security recruitment capability in Sydney. The role focuses on identifying, engaging and placing Cyber Security professionals across Defence, Federal Government and critical infrastructure projects.

You will build networks within the Australian cyber community, supported by Kinexus' brand, systems and leadership. This is suitable for experienced recruiters or cyber security sales professionals transitioning into recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage Cyber Security professionals across Australia.
• Build and manage talent pools of security-cleared specialists.
• Develop relationships with candidates across offensive/defensive security, governance, risk and compliance, cloud security, SOC operations, engineering and architecture.
• Partner with Defence, Government and industry clients to understand workforce requirements.
• Maintain strong candidate engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Develop your personal brand within the cyber security community and Kinexus' desk.

As cyber threats continue to evolve and Australia's investment in Cyber Security grows, we are expanding our specialist capability and looking for a Recruitment Consultant - Cyber Security to join our Sydney team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter, or alternatively someone who has successfully sold cyber security products, solutions or services and is looking to build a rewarding career in recruitment.

About the Role

This role will focus on identifying, engaging and placing Cyber Security professionals across Defence, Federal Government and critical infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with existing clients and candidates while developing your own network within the Australian cyber community. Supported by Kinexus' established brand, database, systems and leadership team, you will have the opportunity to build a specialist market presence and become a trusted advisor within one of the fastest-growing sectors in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage Cyber Security professionals across Australia
• Build and manage talent pools of security-cleared cyber specialists
• Develop relationships with candidates across offensive security, defensive security, governance, risk and compliance, cloud security, SOC operations, engineering and architecture disciplines
• Partner with Defence, Government and industry clients to understand workforce requirements
• Maintain strong candidate engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle
• Develop and grow a personal brand within the cyber security community
• Utilise innovative sourcing strategies, social media and networking activities to identify top talent
• Contribute to the ongoing growth of Kinexus' Cyber Security capability

About You

We are open to candidates from either a recruitment or cyber security sales background.

Ideally, you will have:

• Recruitment experience within Cyber Security

In addition, you will possess:

• A genuine interest in Cyber Security and emerging technology
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• A proactive and outcome-focused approach
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to think creatively and identify talent in competitive markets
• Energy, resilience and a positive attitude
• An understanding of Defence and Government environments is advantageous but not essential
