Job summary

KBR Australia is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support LAND 8116 within the Combat Support System Program Office (CSSPO). You will deliver CM across platforms and asset lifecycle, ensuring consistency of configuration control and effective management of engineering changes.

Embedded within the LAND 8116 team, you will lead CM activities, mentor staff, and collaborate with Defence personnel, contractors and engineering teams in a secure environment to meet project

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
• At least 5 years in Configuration Management, Engineering, or Technical Data Management.
• Experience in Defence or asset-intensive environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Configuration Management Plans.
• Manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) including current and legacy changes.
• Maintain Defence configuration control across platforms and assets.
• Analyse technical data to support decision-making.
• Coordinate changes to product baselines and configuration documentation.
• Conduct physical and functional configuration audits.
• Prepare technical reports, procedures and briefings.
• Support weekly, monthly and quarterly project reporting.
