Job summary

Yamaha Motor Australia is seeking a Dealer Relationship Manager to partner with Yamaha dealers across New South Wales and grow finance and insurance attachments within the dealership network.

You will develop dealer growth plans, coach sales teams and use performance insights to drive sustainable value for both dealers and Yamaha, while supporting campaigns and launches across the Yamaha ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build productive, commercially focused relationships with Yamaha dealers across NSW.
• Develop dealer growth plans to increase YFS finance penetration and Yamaha Insurance attachment.
• Identify opportunities within individual dealerships and implement practical actions to drive performance.
• Coach dealer principals, sales teams and business managers to introduce finance and insurance as part of the customer proposition.
• Deliver practical training across finance, insurance, systems, sales processes, application quality and compliance.
• Use sales data, pipeline activity and performance insights to prioritise opportunities and have constructive commercial conversations with dealers.
• Support Yamaha campaigns, promotions, new model launches and dealer initiatives.
• Work closely with Yamaha Motor Australia, YFS sales and operations teams and insurance stakeholders to deliver a connected dealer and customer experience.
• Own territory performance against agreed sales, activity and service objectives.
• Represent Yamaha Financial Services and Yamaha Insurance professionally at Yamaha and industry events.

Job description

As a Dealer Relationship Manager, you'll become a key partner to Yamaha dealers across your NSW territory, helping them grow their businesses through the effective use of YFS Finance and Yamaha Insurance. You'll develop dealer-level growth plans, identify opportunities to increase finance penetration and insurance attachment, coach dealership teams and use performance insights to focus activity where it can make the greatest difference. You'll help dealers realise the value of the broader Yamaha ecosystem, bringing together Yamaha products, finance, insurance and the dealer experience to support sales, strengthen customer loyalty and create sustainable value for both dealers and Yamaha.

About you

• Experience in dealer relationship or territory management, ready to take ownership of an established NSW network.
• Track record in business development of turning strong relationships into measurable commercial growth.
• Experience in financial services or insurance, with strong commercial capability and understanding of lending and customer outcomes.
• Background in automotive, motorcycle, marine or retail distribution, with dealer and sales experience.
• Excellent relationship skills with genuine drive to develop business.
• Comfortable analysing performance, identifying opportunities, coaching and influencing dealership teams.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Organisation and self-motivation required to successfully manage a field-based territory.
• Current driver's licence and ability to travel regularly throughout NSW.
