AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer III to join the Data Center Life Cycle team in Sydney. You will help design and deliver network refreshes, turndowns, and related automation while coordinating multiple infrastructure teams to minimize customer impact.

The role emphasizes operating safely, meeting technical metrics, and delivering scalable network solutions for AWS data centers. Strong scripting and Linux experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical framework and metrics for DCLC programs like DC Build, DC refresh and turndown.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to refresh or turn down data center networks.
• Execute processes in projects and coordinate impacted teams for success.
• Ensure operational excellence with no impact to customer traffic.
• Define and implement automations for the programs.
