Job summary

BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox, is seeking a Transport Coordinator at Kemps Creek to support a busy operation, dispatching up to 100 loads per day, monitor deliveries, respond to challenges and ensure customer requirements are met safely and on time.

You will coordinate daily dispatch activities, manage schedules, communicate delays to customers, support load planning, and build strong relationships with drivers and stakeholders while adhering to WHS policies and company procedures.

What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you'll support the day-to-day coordination of a busy transport operation at our Kemps Creek site. Working in a fast-paced environment dispatching up to 100 loads per day, you'll be responsible for monitoring deliveries, responding to operational challenges and ensuring customer requirements are met safely and on time.

Key areas:

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities across a high-volume transport operation.
• Monitor deliveries and schedules to ensure service requirements are achieved.
• Communicate delays and delivery updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Respond proactively to operational issues and last-minute changes.
• Support load planning and resource allocation activities.
• Complete shift handovers and operational reporting.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to Linfox standards, policies and procedures, including the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management System.

• Previous experience in transport coordination, dispatch or scheduling.

• Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Exposure to transport regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
