BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to support day-to-day dispatch at our Kemps Creek site. You will dispatch up to 100 loads daily, monitor deliveries, and keep customers updated on service status, ensuring safety and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport coordination, dispatch or scheduling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Exposure to transport regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities across a high-volume transport operation.
• Monitor deliveries and schedules to ensure service requirements are met.
• Communicate delays and delivery updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Respond proactively to operational issues and last-minute changes.
• Support load planning and resource allocation activities.
• Complete shift handovers and operational reporting.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to WHS policies and procedures.

What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you'll support the day-to-day coordination of a busy transport operation at our Kemps Creek site. Working in a fast-paced environment dispatching up to 100 loads per day, you'll be responsible for monitoring deliveries, responding to operational challenges and ensuring customer requirements are met safely and on time.

Key areas:

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities across a high-volume transport operation.
• Monitor deliveries and schedules to ensure service requirements are achieved.
• Communicate delays and delivery updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Respond proactively to operational issues and last-minute changes.
• Support load planning and resource allocation activities.
• Complete shift handovers and operational reporting.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to Linfox standards, policies and procedures, including the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management System.
