Job summary

XPT Software in Sydney is seeking a Dayforce Subject Matter Expert to lead Dayforce HCM operations for a client. You will be the primary functional expert collaborating with HR, Payroll, Learning, and IT to optimize HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

This onsite, client-facing role requires strong Dayforce expertise in Payroll, Workforce Management, Onboarding/Offboarding, Learning, ESS/MSS, and data governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Dayforce HCM experience.
• Solid understanding of Payroll, HR admin and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience supporting end-to-end HR lifecycle in large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations, incidents, and end-user queries.

Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and enhance Dayforce Human Capital Management (HCM) operations. The successful candidate will act as the primary functional expert for Dayforce, partnering with HR, Payroll, Learning, and Business stakeholders to ensure efficient operation, continuous improvement, and optimization of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

This is a client-facing onsite role requiring strong functional expertise in Dayforce modules including Payroll, Workforce Management, Onboarding, Offboarding, Learning, Employee Data Management, and HR Service Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SME for the Dayforce platform and associated HR processes.
• Support day-to-day operations, incident resolution, and user queries related to Dayforce.
• Work closely with HR, Payroll, Learning & Development, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Configure and maintain Dayforce modules including:

• Payroll
• Workforce Management
• Employee Lifecycle Management
• Onboarding & Offboarding
• Learning & Training
• Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS)
• Analyze business requirements and recommend best-practice Dayforce solutions.
• Support testing, system upgrades, patches, and new feature deployments.
• Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Develop process documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops, training sessions, and end-user enablement activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams for integrations and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process automation opportunities.
