Job summary

Securitas Australia is seeking a Site Security Manager to lead a team of security professionals at a major datacenter site. You’ll oversee day-to-day security operations, ensure a safe environment, and drive performance.

Candidates should bring at least 3 years in security management, strong leadership, and stakeholder engagement. English at business proficiency and experience with CCTV, access control, and MS Office are preferred; prior datacenter exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Security Management experience, overseeing large teams across multiple sites.
• Must be able to speak English at a business proficient level.
• Sound knowledge of security operations.
• Proven team management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience working in a datacenter or with security technologies (CCTV, access control) is desirable.
• Customer service mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage site-based security officers, responders, and control room staff.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members in partnership with the local branch.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and audit standards.
• Act as a responder or control room supervisor when needed.
• Monitor and maintain on-site security systems (CCTV, access control).
• Track performance metrics and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Handle documentation, incident reports, and client communications.
• Support audits, inspections, and safety reviews.
• Act as the point of contact for the site in the CSM’s absence.
• Identify and address potential safety or security issues.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Site Security Manager to lead security operations at a major data centre site. You’ll lead and develop a team of security professionals, manage day-to-day operations and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Salary on Offer: AUD $148,000 - 154,000 base salary.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach and develop site security teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Data centre or critical infrastructure experience is desirable.
• CCTV and access control experience is advantageous.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to attain a Baseline or NV1 clearance within the first 3 months of joining.
• Must be able to attain a Security License within the first 4-6 months of joining.
