Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Corporate Security Officer for our Melbourne CBD client site. You will perform static and roving duties, monitor CCTV and access control, and respond to alarms. You will support safety exercises and maintain strong customer service with stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect critical assets.

Shift patterns are rotational (0700–1900 and 1900–0700). A VIC Security license and fluent English are essential; proficiency with MS Excel/Word/Outlook is

Qualifications

• Current VICSecurity License
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong IT knowledge with MS Excel, Word, Outlook
• Fluent English (verbal & written)
• Ability to work rotating shifts with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform static and roving duties to secure the Client's Corporate office space and its critical infrastructure
• Monitor CCTV system and manage access control
• Respond to alarms in compliance with global guidelines and escalate to Supervisor
• Provide basic First Aid, respond to incidents onsite and coordinate with stakeholders
• Enforce client's badging and access control policies
• Perform daily security operations as directed by the Security Supervisor
• Participate in safety and security exercises (e.g. Fire Drill)
• Maintain collaboration with IT, Facilities, HR, Legal and other teams

About the Client

Our newly acquired client is a global CRM leader, helping businesses of all sizes connect with customers through innovative cloud-based solutions. They drive digital transformation across industries with a strong focus on trust, growth, and customer success.

Securitas is looking for an experienced and skilled Security Officer to provide exceptional service to this client site in Melbourne CBD. Successful applicants will play an important role in ensuring clients' data integrity, visitor management and asset protection.

Shift Timings :Rotational Roster- 0700-1900 and 1900-0700

• Perform static and roving duties to secure the Client's Corporate office space and its critical infrastructure
• Monitor CCTV system and manage access control
• Respond to alarms in compliance with global guidelines and escalate security breaches/violations to the Supervisor
• Provide basic First Aid, respond to other incidents onsite and escalate accordingly to clients' stakeholders
• Enforce Client’s badging and access control policies
• Perform daily security operations duties as planned by the site Security Supervisor.
• Participate in scheduled safety and security exercises (e.g. Fire Drill and Security Intrusion Exercises)
• Maintain a friendly demeanor and collaborative working relationships with multiple cross-functional teams and business stakeholders including, but not limited to, IT, Global Real Estate Facilities, Human Resources, Legal etc.
• Current VICSecurity License
• Strong ability to adapt and adjust quickly to a variety of situations, making well-informed decisions with minimum supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a working command of the English language (both verbal & written)
• Good IT knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Word ,Outlook
• Strong passion for customer satisfaction and sense of ownership.
