Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Data Centre Security Officer for NSW with Baseline/NV-1 clearance to safeguard high-value environments in Sydney CBD. You will manage visitor screening, provide exceptional customer service, and perform site patrols and reporting duties.

Night shift 5:30PM–5:30AM, strong safety culture, and opportunities to uplift to NV1 clearance. White card and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current AGSVA Baseline / NV-1 Clearance.
• White card is required.
• Customer service experience is essential.
• Conflict resolution and negation skills required.
• Must be punctual and responsible.
• Excellent observational skills.
• Basic to Intermediate PC skills (MS Suite).
• Compliance of all relevant company policies and procedures.
• Protection of premises occupants, protection of real and personal property.
• Report writing and Site patrol duties.
• Greet visitors and employees and assist as appropriate.
• Excellent observational skills.
• Experience communicating via two-way radio.
• Lead by example – support a safety and compliance culture.

The security team in theselocations playan important role in ensuring that the clients data integrity is always maintained.As the first point of contact visitors and contractors entering the facility, the Security team at these locations needto leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.

Primary duties are to screen visitors to and from the secure area with a handheld metal wand. Customer service is a focus, with some administrative tasks.

Job Location : Sydney , CBD

Shift Timings : 5:30PM -5:30AM . Shifts would be assigned based on operational requirements
