Digitas Australia is seeking a Data Strategy Director to unlock growth by turning customer, behavioural and performance data into strategic, growth-focused actions. You will partner with clients and multidisciplinary teams to shape journeys, loyalty programs, and measurement frameworks that drive informed, customer-centric decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across customer strategy, CRM, loyalty, customer analytics or marketing effectiveness.
• Expertise in customer segmentation, lifecycle strategy, personalisation and customer value optimisation.
• Experience developing data-led recommendations for senior business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of experimentation, measurement and test-and-learn methodologies.
• Familiarity with customer data platforms, CRM ecosystems and digital analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer, CRM and loyalty strategy development across complex business challenges.
• Translate customer, marketing and performance data into clear strategic recommendations and actionable opportunities.
• Design measurement frameworks, experimentation programs and performance reporting approaches that demonstrate business impact.
• Guide audience segmentation, personalisation and customer lifecycle strategies.
• Work with data, technology, media, creative and experience teams to connect insights across channels and touchpoints.
• Present compelling data-led narratives and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for innovation using emerging AI and data capabilities.
• Mentor analysts and foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration and continuous learning.
