ElectraNet in Adelaide is seeking a Data Scientist to develop automation and analytical solutions using engineering data. You will create data pipelines, dashboards, and tools, collaborating with power system engineers to improve data accessibility and decision making.

The role requires strong Python/SQL, data integration, and communication skills, with exposure to BI platforms and cloud analytics. A commitment to a diverse, inclusive workplace is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with data integration and analytics
• Experience translating stakeholder needs into practical tech solutions
• Knowledge of data quality, testing, documentation and version control
• Ability to build data pipelines, dashboards and reports
• Experience with power-system or electricity-industry data is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver automation opportunities across engineering and analytical processes
• Translate stakeholder needs into secure, scalable technical solutions
• Build scripts, data pipelines and analytical tools that integrate and report data
• Automate repeatable workflows using interfaces to engineering apps
• Apply statistical or time-series methods where appropriate
• Develop dashboards with Power BI
• Follow testing and version control practices across teams
