Job summary

Barwon Community Legal Service (BCLS) is seeking a Data & Reporting Officer to strengthen reporting, business intelligence and data capability across the organisation, including data management and timely insights for decision-making.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates across teams to ensure data quality and effective reporting. The ideal candidate has strong Power BI and Excel skills, together with experience in data governance and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in data analytics, information management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience maintaining data management and reporting systems.
• Strong experience with Power BI and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI and related reporting tools.
• Prepare operational, funding, performance and compliance reports.
• Monitor data quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support reporting systems, datasets and business intelligence solutions.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and reporting anomalies.
• Assist with governance reporting requirements.
• Provide support to staff regarding reporting processes and systems.
• Develop user guides and reporting resources.
• Support ongoing use and optimisation of reporting platforms.
