Job summary

Precision Sourcing in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a growing portfolio of enterprise Data initiatives, shaping requirements and delivering outcomes.

The role is a 12-month contract with strong extension prospects, offering a daily rate of $1,275 + GST and a Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in Sydney CBD, 2 days at home).

Qualifications

• (5+) years senior Program Management experience in large, complex organisations.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale Data programs (data lakes, data platforms, data warehouses, cloud data migrations, governance).
• Experience taking data initiatives from scoping through funding/approval to delivery.
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects and teams (PMs, BAs, Change Managers, partners).
• Strong governance, budget/resource management and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Opportunity to shape a growing enterprise Data portfolio.
• 12-month contract with strong potential to extend.

The Low Down

Initially, you’ll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, identify priorities and help shape the future Data project roadmap. You’ll support the planning and scoping of new initiatives, development of business cases and the funding and approval process. As projects are approved, you’ll move into delivery, establishing the right teams, governance, budgets and delivery plans.

What You Will Be Doing

• Work with business and technology stakeholders to identify, scope and prioritise new Data initiatives.
• Develop business cases and support projects through funding, governance and approval.
• Once approved, move projects into delivery, overseeing Project Managers, BAs and Change Managers across in-house teams and external partners.
• Manage budgets, resources, governance, reporting and senior stakeholder engagement across the portfolio.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ senior Program Management experience within large, complex organisations.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale Data programs, including initiatives such as data lakes, data platforms, data warehouses, cloud data migrations, data governance and enterprise analytics.
• Experience taking new Data initiatives from initial scoping and business case through funding/approval and into delivery.
• Experience leading multiple complex projects and teams, including Project Managers, BAs, Change Managers, internal teams and external partners.
• Strong program governance, budget/resource management and Executive-level stakeholder engagement.
• Opportunity to shape a growing enterprise Data portfolio.
