Interface Agency Australia partners with a major Australian organisation to scale its Data & Analytics capability. They seek a Data Delivery Manager to bring structure, visibility and momentum to a growing portfolio of work.

The role sits between technical delivery and Agile leadership, coordinating a large team and external partners to deliver against an ambitious data strategy. You’ll work hands-on with Azure DevOps and Power BI, improve reporting, capacity planning and forecasting, and help

• 12 months day rate contract - with extension likely

We’re partnering with a major Australian organisation that is significantly scaling its Data & Analytics capability and is looking for an experienced Data Delivery Manager to help bring structure, visibility and momentum to a growing portfolio of work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who sits comfortably between technical delivery and Agile leadership.

You’ll work across a sizeable data function of around 40 internal and external resources, helping coordinate multiple streams of work as the organisation ramps up delivery against an ambitious new data strategy. We’re looking for someone who can get into the detail, understand what’s happening across technical teams and create pragmatic ways of working that actually help people deliver.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving delivery across multiple data and technology workstreams
• Working closely with internal teams and external consulting partners

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced Data Delivery Manager, Delivery Lead or Technical Delivery Lead with a strong track record delivering in complex technology environments.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Strong, practical experience with Azure DevOps
• Solid Agile delivery experience, including sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
• Experience coordinating sizeable technical teams and multiple concurrent workstreams
• Strong understanding of capacity and resource planning
• Experience within data, analytics, data platforms or engineering environments
• The technical credibility to work confidently with engineers, developers and external consultancies
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to bring people with you when improving ways of working
• Power BI experience would be highly regarded

We’d be particularly interested in people who started their career in a technical or engineering environment before moving into delivery leadership.

The opportunity

• This is an initial 12-month day-rate contract, with a strong likelihood of a further 12-month extension.
• There’s a substantial pipeline of work ahead, plenty to get your teeth into, and genuine scope to shape how a growing data function delivers.
