Job summary

Device Technologies in Sydney, Australia is seeking a highly technical and hands-on D&A Manager (Data Engineering and Operations) to lead our data squad and drive critical data initiatives. You bring deep experience in data platforms, architecture, or engineering, balancing technical excellence with delivery and initiative management.

You'll oversee governance, data management, workforce planning, and end-to-end delivery of data initiatives, while engaging stakeholders to continuously improve

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data and analytics roles including hands-on data engineering, platforms and enterprise reporting.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams, planning work, and delivering across competing priorities.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud data and analytics platforms and tools (e.g. Fabric, Power BI, SAP BW).

Responsibilities

• Lead data management and platform governance across the data estate.
• Oversee design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise data platforms.
• Manage workforce planning and team operating cadence for Data Engineering and Operations.
• Deliver end-to-end data initiatives with prioritization, planning, and Agile practices.
• Engage stakeholders and drive continuous improvement within data capability.
