Job summary

AIA Australia is seeking a Senior Technical Data Owner to coordinate between Data Office leadership and project technology teams. You will ensure clear information flow, maintain alignment on data standards, and escalate risks and issues to senior stakeholders.

In this role, you will partner with Data Office and engineering streams, track dependencies, and guide teams on data governance, platform access, and delivery practices while avoiding direct design authority.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating data projects across large enterprises.
• Solid understanding of data platforms and governance.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day liaison between Data Office leadership and project technical streams.
• Coordinate the flow of requirements, questions, and information between projects and Data Office Leadership.
• Track and escalate data-related risks, issues, and decisions to senior management.
• Guide project teams on Data Office processes, governance, platform access, and ways of working.
• Maintain visibility of data-related project activity for Data Office leadership.
