Job summary

XPT Software is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to own the end-to-end data platform strategy, governance, and roadmap. You will lead teams delivering data integration, warehousing, analytics, and automation across the enterprise.

You will drive modernization across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and related platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective data engineering solutions. Strong leadership and vendor management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics, Integration, or Enterprise Applications.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale data and integration platforms.
• Experience managing production support and application delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and technology teams.
• Experience managing multiple vendors and managed service providers.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data platform strategy, architecture, governance, and roadmap.
• Lead modernization of Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective data engineering solutions.
• Define enterprise data standards, data quality frameworks, and metadata management practices.
• Support advanced analytics, reporting, AI, and business intelligence initiatives.
