Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join our team in Australia. You will build and enhance modern, scalable data platforms and pipelines that empower analytics and business insights across the enterprise.

You will work on cloud-based infrastructure, data processing automation and CI/CD practices, while collaborating with business, analytics and technology teams to deliver reliable solutions and improve platform performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience building scalable data platforms and pipelines.
• Strong Python and/or Java development skills.
• Knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, batch and streaming processing; DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance and support cloud-based data platforms, pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Transform source data into trusted assets for reporting, analytics and decision-making.
• Develop and improve automated data processing, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure solutions.
• Partner with business, analytics and technology teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Contribute to platform performance, security, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
