Job summary

Loan Market Group (LMG) is seeking an Insights Analyst for the Corporate Analytics team in Australia. You will stabilise and enhance our end-to-end data pipeline, wrangling messy data and building standardised reporting to support growth.

This hybrid role offers 2 days in the office per week, with options to work from Melbourne or Brisbane. You will collaborate with senior analysts to deliver data solutions, improve data literacy, and empower self-service across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least two years in a high-performing analytics team, preferably with exposure to the finance or mortgage industry.
• Strong experience in SQL and with Cloud-based Technologies and Databases (GCP is advantageous). DBT experience is advantageous, as is experience with Tableau or other BI platforms.
• Analytical mindset: Curious and outcome-driven, with ability to define metrics and end-user workflows.
• Communication: Confidence in gathering requirements and presenting data solutions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Data Product Operations: Manage health of data reporting suite and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Strategic Growth Initiatives: Collaborate on projects to accelerate business growth.
• Data Self-Service: Drive data literacy and self-service reporting for key stakeholders.
• Data Engineering Collaboration: Ensure data availability, integrity, and real-time accuracy.
• Data Governance & Quality Control: Support validation and quality frameworks for the business.
• Process Improvement: Standardise data quality metrics and reporting procedures.
• Professional Development: Focus on analytics, business acumen, and data enrichment.
