Job summary

HPX Group is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Data Insights function in Sydney. You will be the trusted go-to contact for partners and teams on reporting, helping them access, understand and get value from existing reports and dashboards.

You will gather requirements, run ad-hoc data queries, and work with the data team to scope new dashboards. Hybrid work options are available, with a focus on building strong in-person relationships with the business.

Qualifications

• Experience as a business analyst, reporting, data analyst or similar role.
• Experience in professional services or law firms is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate loosely defined requests into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educate users on how to find, access and run existing reports through training sessions or guides.
• Handle ad-hoc data queries and investigations for business teams.
• Turn stakeholder requests into clear, well-documented requirements for dashboards or reports.
• Collaborate with data team to ensure end results meet user needs.
