Job summary

ASIC is seeking a Data Governance Policy Specialist to support the implementation of our data governance framework, maintain standards, monitor compliance and manage data risks. The role focuses on the Registry Connect Program and ASIC's Business Registries, with responsibilities across taxonomy development and enterprise data standards.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, contribute to research and communications, and provide secretariat support to governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and applying data governance policies and practices.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks such as DAMA, DMBOK and DATA2.0.
• Ability to provide secretariat support to governance bodies and collaborate on taxonomy development.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of data governance standards, policies, and processes for Registry Connect to align with ASIC's framework.
• Liaise with Registry data teams and SMEs to understand governance processes and align with policies.
• Establish systems to monitor compliance with governance policies, agreements and risk frameworks.
• Contribute to the cataloguing of ASIC's data assets, policies and standards.
• Collaborate to maintain the Common Language Vocabulary and Taxonomy in Collibra across enterprise standards.
