ASIC invites applications for a Data Governance Policy Specialist in Brisbane. This 12-month fixed term role supports the Registry Connect Program and ASIC’s data governance framework, focusing on standards, compliance monitoring and data risk management.

You will collaborate on taxonomy, data assets cataloguing and enterprise-wide data standards while engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in information management, IT, economics, law, or related field.
• Experience developing and applying data governance policies and frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the implementation of data governance standards for Registry Connect to align with the Data Governance framework.
• Liaise with data teams and SMEs to understand governance processes and ensure policy alignment.
• Establish systems to monitor compliance with governance policies, risk management and data ethics initiatives.
