Job summary

ASIC is seeking a Data Solution Analyst to guide data governance and quality across Registry Connect. You will collaborate with product owners to embed robust data requirements in outcomes and interfaces, ensuring consumer-centric design and strong data practices.

You will influence data strategy, governance standards, and modern techniques while navigating a complex regulatory environment. This role supports a 18-month fixed term with Australia-wide teams and a flexible work model.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to understand business challenges, identify opportunities and translate these into well defined, clearly documented requirements.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to enable effective delivery of outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems creatively and persistently.
• Significant demonstrated experience in balancing and clearly articulating the interplay between business strategy and IT strategy, business process design and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist data expertise to a team of product owners across the program, supporting the uplift and modernisation of ASIC's registers, user channels and interfaces.
• Understand and advocate for user needs, ensuring that products are designed with a strong focus on consumer experience and high data quality.
• Provide strategic, technical and professional advice on data considerations within user experience, user interface and accessibility design.
• Ensure that all Registry Connect services are delivered in full compliance with ASIC's relevant organisational data governance standards and policies.
