ASIC is seeking a Data Governance Policy Specialist to drive the implementation of its governance framework, including standards, processes, and taxonomy. The role focuses on Registry Connect and ASIC's Business Registries, with collaboration across business and technical teams to ensure consistent data governance.

You will monitor compliance, manage data risks, and support data ethics and AI initiatives while contributing to governance research, communications and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and applying data governance policies and practices.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as DAMA, DMBOK, and DATA2.0.
• Ability to work with complex data and embed data strategy across projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Support implementation of data governance standards for Registry Connect.
• Liaise with Registry data teams and SMEs to align with enterprise policies.
• Establish systems to monitor compliance with governance policies and risk frameworks.
• Contribute to cataloguing of ASIC's data assets, policies and standards.
• Collaborate to maintain the Common Language Vocabulary and Taxonomy in Collibra.
