Job summary

Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is seeking a Data Engineer to turn payments data into trusted assets across our data platform. You will design and operate scalable data pipelines, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to drive actionable insights.

Using Snowflake, AWS and Python, you’ll ensure data quality, security and timely delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role is based in Sydney, Australia and may involve on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in enterprise data infrastructure, ideally in payments or banking.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, Airflow and Kafka for data pipelines.
• Strong SQL, Python and API/data integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Build ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, files and event streams.
• Monitor, optimise performance and ensure data quality and governance.
