Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting for Technical Project Managers to join our Data Centre team across Invercargill, South Island New Zealand. You will lead complex data centre projects, coordinating clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver on scope, schedule and budget.

The role requires a degree in construction management or related field, 5–10 years of data centre project management experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management or related field.
• Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction.
• 5–10 years of project management experience in a data centre or similar environment.
• Understanding of the full project lifecycle from inception to post-project review.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Develop relationships, solve problems, and drive projects to completion.
• Lead design to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
• Review plans and schedules, monitor costs, and identify risks.
• Ensure project safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks and reporting.
• Coordinate vendor scope with overall delivery.
• Draft and manage contract documents per approved templates.
• Demonstrate strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation.
