MSS Security is hiring for a role at a high-profile Data Centre in Melbourne. No prior security experience is required and full training is provided. A PV clearance may be required, with an allowance scheme for Positive Vetting clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Willingness to obtain AGSVA Positive Vetting (PV) Security Clearance.
• Willingness to obtain a Victorian Security Licence.
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
• Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive security vetting and provide the information required by AGSVA.

Responsibilities

• Verify identification to ensure only authorised individuals enter restricted area.
• Maintain continuous line of sight of visitors while escorting them through secure areas.
• Inspect hand-carried items in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor access logs.

PV clearance allowance: Employees holding a Positive Vetting Clearance will receive a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Verify identification to ensure only authorised individuals enter restricted area.
• Maintain continuous line of sight of visitors while escorting them through secure areas.
• Inspect hand-carried items in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor access logs.

Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen .
