Job summary

MSS Security is hiring Full Time Security Officers for a high-profile data centre based in Melbourne. The role requires a valid Baseline/NV1/NV2/PV clearance (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian security licence with a valid driver’s licence.

You will patrol, manage access, monitor CCTV, assist visitors and respond to incidents. Applicants must be Australian citizens, available for a rotating roster, and prepared to provide referees and background information as needed.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen or eligible to work in Australia.
• Baseline, NV1, NV2 or PV security clearance or willing to obtain.
• Valid Victorian Security Licence.
• Valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
• First Aid & CPR certificates or willing to obtain.
• Able to work 24/7 rotating rosters.
• Willing to provide referees and background information.

MSS Security is seeking Full Time Security Officers who hold or are eligible for a Positing Vetting Clearance, to join our team in Melbourne. We have positions available at a high-profile data centre, with sponsorship available for candidates who do not yet hold a clearance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure.

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.

• Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.

• Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries.

• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.

Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen.

• Hold a current Baseline, NV1, NV2 or PV Clearance (or willing to obtain).

• Valid Victorian Security Licence.

• Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.

• Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).

• 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.

• Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.

• Must be able to supply background information including (but not limited to) referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education etc.
