Job summary

MSS Security is seeking a Security Site Lead to oversee daily operations of security services at a Data Centre located in Melbourne. This role requires Positive Vetting clearance, with a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year for eligible applicants.

You will lead a team of up to 15 officers, manage shifts, ensure site procedures and client requirements are met, and maintain licences and training. Australian citizenship and a valid Victorian Security Licence are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading security teams or in a supervisory role.
• Data centre security experience is highly regarded.
• Australian Citizenship is required.
• Willingness to obtain Positive Vetting clearance (sponsorship available).
• Must supply referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education, etc.
• Valid Victorian Security Licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of up to 15 security officers.
• Oversee daily security operations and uphold site procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox briefings for licences/training.
• Respond to incidents with proper escalation and documentation.
• Manage shift drops and overall site coverage.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and service requests.
