Job summary

Calleo Australia is recruiting for a Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer to join a major infrastructure program supporting critical ICT services in Sydney. The role is a long-term contract with NV1 security clearance mandatory.

You will apply hands-on expertise across data centre environments, network, server platforms and facilities design to ensure secure, reliable, scalable infrastructure. You will lead changes, mentor staff and produce technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in data centre design, operations, and infrastructure management.
• Strong background with enterprise server, network and cloud environments.
• Proven ability to document standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain data centre and ICT infrastructure solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams and stakeholders.
• Lead infrastructure changes, upgrades and deployment activities.
• Manage data centre operations: rack allocation, capacity, power, cabling.
• Develop infrastructure architecture, operational designs, standards and procedures.
• Support project delivery with project managers and technical teams.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security and performance.
• Review technical changes and roadmaps.
• Produce documentation and transfer knowledge.
• Mentor team members as needed.
