Job summary

Linesight in Sydney, AU seeks a Senior Cost Manager - Utilities to lead cost control on major projects. You will actively participate in tendering, draft commercial and contractual correspondence, and manage approvals and payments in line with contracts.

You will oversee spend, produce valuations and cost reports, maintain cost documentation, and foster strong client and team relationships in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Tender/bid involvement from documentation through reporting
• Experience managing cost in complex construction or development environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the tender/bid process—from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
• Assist in drafting new commercial, variations and contractual correspondence
• Manage the Contract and Purchase Order approvals process and track approvals with stakeholders
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports and communicate variations to the team
• Manage contract lifecycle and coordinate payments to meet contractual terms
