Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Dubbo, Australia seeks a Data Center Technician for a full-time on-site role. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, and manage hardware deployments and decommissions.

The successful candidate has 3+ years of data center operations experience, expert cabling skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. On-site duties include on-call rotation and documentation. Certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills with Cat6/6a and fiber.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs in demanding environments.
• Strong documentation and asset-tracking abilities.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and DCIM platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optics).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
