Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Hume, Australia, seeks a Data Center Technician for on-site, full-time support of critical infrastructure in our world-class data center facilities.

You will install, configure and maintain server and network gear, perform structured cabling, and monitor power, cooling and security systems. 3+ years in data center operations and relevant vendor certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining server/network gear.
• Strong cabling, documentation and asset-tracking skills.
• Familiarity with power distribution and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions; monitor power, cooling, security.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot; maintain accurate docs and assets.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams; participate in capacity planning.
