Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Macquarie Park, Australia for a full-time on-site role. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, handle structured cabling, and support critical data center infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling and documentation skills, and relevant vendor certifications. The position includes standard business hours with on-call rotation and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with rack and stack operations and power distribution/Ups is a plus.
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) and data center certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking; collaborate with engineering and operations.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
