Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Data Center Strategy professional to expand and optimize its global data center footprint. You will negotiate with vendors, lead end-to-end deals, and coordinate with legal, operations, and network teams to align with growth plans.

The role requires senior experience in data center planning, budgeting, and cross-border collaboration, with a focus on driving cost efficiency and scalable infrastructure deployment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years planning and managing data center footprints in a fast-moving enterprise tech/org
• Strong vendor and contract negotiation experience with data center partners
• Experience balancing multiple projects and geographies with tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Define regional vendor strategy for data centers
• Own end-to-end deals with new/existing data center vendors and sites
• Collaborate with legal, operations, capacity planning, network, security teams
• Manage vendor relationships and conduct quarterly review activities
• Represent Cloudflare to senior executives and at conferences/events
• Contribute to annual data center budget and cost benchmarking
• Review colocation spend and invoices for approvals
• Progress multiple projects in a high-growth environment
