  • Provide technical leadership across applicable Australian and New Zealand standards, grid-connection requirements, product compliance and industry regulations relevant to critical power systems.
  • Ensure Power Quality products, engineered solutions and technical documentation comply with relevant certifications, safety requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Lead technical reviews for complex bids, specifications and customer presentations covering UPS, batteries, DC systems, power distribution, connectivity and monitoring software.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Project Management, Software and Services teams to deliver seamless end-to-end customer solutions across the Power Quality portfolio.
  • Collaborate with overseas factories and global engineering teams to resolve technical issues, align product requirements and support the successful introduction and delivery of Power Quality solutions.
  • Manage late-point-definition design engineering, ensuring customer-specific requirements are confirmed, controlled and incorporated without compromising quality, compliance or delivery timelines.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent, creating a pipeline of diverse technical experts.
  • Mentor engineers to achieve career goals while driving accountability for project timelines, design quality, and documentation.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and adherence to Eaton’s values.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex bids, specification reviews, system designs and the introduction or application of new critical power products and technologies.
