Job summary

Danfoss in Melbourne is seeking a Product Applications Engineer to be a technical expert shaping the future of data center liquid cooling. You will ensure our quick disconnects, hoses, and assemblies are qualified, specified, and deployed in hyperscale environments.

You will work with customers to influence product strategy, development roadmaps, and long-term inputs, delivering training and technical presentations and translating market trends into roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering.
• Experience with data centers, cooling systems, or fluid conveyance preferred.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and drawings including flow and materials.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for liquid cooling components within data center architectures.
• Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators, OEMs/ODMs, and CDU manufacturers.
• Manage product qualification activities and maintain customer item trackers.
• Execute quotation and part activation with Sales, and maintain technical documentation.
• Deliver training, webinars, and technical presentations, translating market trends into roadmaps.
