Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Engineer, Applications - Data Center to be a technical expert in liquid cooling components, helping qualify, specify, and deploy quick disconnects, hoses, and CDU assemblies in hyperscale environments.

You will translate customer insights into product roadmaps, support design wins, and deliver technical training and presentations while collaborating with sales, engineering, and operations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering.
• Experience related to data centers, cooling systems, thermal management, or fluid conveyance is preferred.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills for technical presentations and training.
• Proficiency with PLM and commercial systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for liquid cooling components within data center architectures.
• Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators, OEMs/ODMs, and CDU manufacturers.
• Manage product qualification activities with timelines and validation testing.
• Execute quotation and part activation with Sales, including cost/lead-time coordination.
• Deliver training, webinars, and technical presentations, capturing Voice of Customer insights.
