Job summary

Pearson Carter is partnering with an Australian technology consultancy to place a Data Business Analyst for a client engagement. You’ll assess the organisation’s data capabilities and help shape its AI strategy, turning stakeholder insights into practical recommendations and a prioritised roadmap.

Responsibilities include leading workshops, assessing governance and maturity, identifying AI use cases, and delivering an AI roadmap with risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis experience across data governance, analytics, reporting or data management.
• Confident in workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
• Experience developing strategies, roadmaps or advisory recommendations.

Data Business Analyst – AI Strategy & Roadmap Contract

Experience

Essential:

• Strong Business Analysis experience across data governance, analytics, reporting or data management.
• Confident workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
• Experience developing strategies, roadmaps or advisory recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to senior executives.

Desirable:

• Exposure to AI, Generative AI or Machine Learning.
• Consulting, data strategy or transformation experience.
• Experience assessing data maturity or operating models.

Salary

Flexible contract rate depending on experience.

Monthly rolling contract with an immediate start. You’ll have direct input into the client’s AI priorities and technology roadmap, with a streamlined one-to-two-stage interview process.

On-site at the client’s premises. City and state to be confirmed.
