Job summary

PERSOL in Australia is seeking a commercially minded Business Analyst to support AI governance initiatives within a large organisation. The role covers business cases, governance and program delivery.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, assist in investment decisions, benefits realisation and PMO activities, ensuring initiatives are well scoped and value-focused. Roster 5/2 in Perth CBD; start ASAP; approx 6 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and/or reviewing business cases.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability.
• Experience assessing costs, benefits, risks and value-realisation assumptions.
• Experience supporting governance forums, steering committees or investment decision-making.
• Strong PMO, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills.
• The ability to challenge assumptions and provide sound commercial advice.
• Experience working across technology, digital, data, transformation or AI initiatives will be highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality papers and communicate with senior stakeholders.

Our Tier 1 Mining Client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a growing AI program within a large, complex organisation.

Roster: 5/2 - Perth CBD Location

Start date: ASAP

Duration: approx. 6 months - with potential to extend

Pay Rate: Starting from $65.00 p/h + Super depending on experience

The Role:

This is a commercially focused role supporting the assessment, governance and delivery of AI initiatives. You will work across business cases, investment decisions, governance, benefits realisation and program support, partnering with a range of senior stakeholders.

You will play a key role in ensuring AI initiatives are well considered, commercially sound and aligned with strategic priorities.

We are looking for a commercially minded Business Analyst who can operate confidently across business cases, governance and program delivery.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the development of business cases for AI initiatives
