Job summary

Paxus is leading a major data transformation project in Australia, seeking a Senior Data & Solution Architect to redesign data collection, integration, governance and analytics. You will drive secure, automated data exchange between client systems and our platform, with a Microsoft Fabric-led architecture across OneLake, Lakehouse and Power BI.

You will collaborate across architecture, integration, analytics, security and digital experience to deliver scalable, cost-efficient data platforms,

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, Analytics or a senior technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Expertise across OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Warehouses and Power BI.
• Strong SQL Server, SQL and T-SQL skills.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft cloud services and Snowflake.
• Strong data warehouse, data modelling and integration experience.
• Experience designing secure external-to-internal data interfaces and APIs.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy and compliance.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps and related Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the data and solution architecture for the transformation.
• Design Microsoft Fabric architectures across OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Factory and Real-Time Analytics.
• Design secure database-to-database, API and cross-platform integration solutions.
• Lead ETL/ELT pipeline and data integration architecture.
• Establish data governance, security, classification and data-sharing standards.
• Enable governed self-service analytics through Power BI and semantic modelling.
• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability and cost.
• Support the evolution of client-facing portals, forms and dashboards.
• Work directly with clients to enable secure data-sharing arrangements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI and emerging technologies.

Lead a major data transformation. Build the future of data integration, analytics and client connectivity. We're looking for an experienced Senior Data & Solution Architect to play a key role in a major technology transformation.

This is more than a traditional architecture role. You'll help redesign how data is collected, integrated, governed and analysed-moving from manual client submissions to secure, automated and direct data exchange between client systems and our data platform.

You'll be at the centre of a Microsoft Fabric-led data transformation, working across architecture, integration, analytics, security and digital experience.
