Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. in Australia is seeking a Specialist Solution Engineer, Data & Analytics to champion Tableau and CRM Analytics across ANZ.

You will translate data into decisions, design AI‑ready architectures, and partner with Account Executives to drive analytics‑led deals. You will lead discovery, demos, and hands‑on workshops, build prototypes, and demonstrate value with metrics, semantic layers, and Data 360.

Qualifications

3+ years in technical pre‑sales, consulting, customer success, analytics or data roles, plus a relevant degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or similar)
Hands‑on experience with Tableau, CRM Analytics or similar tools, plus familiarity with data modelling, semantic layers, and ETL/ELT pipelines into analytics‑ready models
Working knowledge of generative AI, including LLMs, prompt design, RAG and AI agents, and how they apply to analytics

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to understand customer goals and manage multiple engagements across ANZ
Run discovery sessions and demos, build prototypes and customised demos that prove business value
Show how metrics and business rules can be defined once and reused, integrating Tableau Semantics, Tableau Knowledge and Tableau Next
Support bids, enable the team and represent Tableau at events and User Groups
