Dunsteel Engineering Pty Ltd in Moss Vale, NSW seeks an experienced Data Analyst to support steel fabrication and engineering operations. You will collect, analyse and report data to improve project delivery, production efficiency and procurement planning.

Develop dashboards and KPIs, identify trends, and work with engineering, production, procurement and finance teams to drive data-driven decisions. Strong Excel and Power BI skills required; experience with ERP systems advantageous.

Qualificações

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant professional experience in data analysis, reporting, operational analytics or a comparable analytical role.
• Experience collecting, cleaning, organising and interpreting complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, clean, validate and analyse operational, production, project, procurement and financial data relevant to the company's steel fabrication and engineering activities.
• Develop dashboards, analytical reports, data models and KPIs to monitor operational and project performance.
• Compare planned and actual project outcomes to identify variations, trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyse workshop and production data to identify workflow constraints, downtime, rework, resource utilisation and productivity trends.
• Review procurement, supplier pricing, material usage, purchasing patterns and lead-time data to support operational planning.
• Apply analytical and statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations and anomalies in datasets.
• Prepare analytical reports, dashboards and visual presentations that communicate findings to management.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, estimators, production supervisors, procurement and finance teams to deliver insights.
• Identify data quality issues and improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
