VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our client JBS Hospitality Group Pty Ltd in St Kilda. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with strong communication skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making, identify trends, and improve operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information technology, computer science, statistics, mathematics, business analytics, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in a Data Analyst role (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Process and transform data using appropriate information technology and analytical tools.
• Prepare data for analysis and presentation.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support business operations.
• Interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven insights.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of organisational data.
• Assist in developing and improving data collection processes and reporting systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify data anomalies and quality issues, implementing appropriate solutions.
• Support business planning and strategic decision-making through analytical reporting.
• Communicate analytical findings through interactive visualisations, including graphs and charts.
