Job summary

Avocados Australia is seeking a capable data analyst to own the data lifecycle from collection through to reporting. You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, validate data accuracy and provide insights to growers, packhouses, traders and other industry stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.

The role requires advanced Excel, strong SQL and Power BI skills, plus an analytical mindset and the ability to prioritise multiple projects in a not-for-profit, member-based environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires a data analytics qualification with proven analytics experience.
• Advanced Excel skills to produce clear graphs and reports.
• Strong Power BI capability, including medium to high-level DAX.
• Working SQL knowledge for querying and updating data.
• Excellent attention to detail and disciplined validation processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Capture, validate, analyse and report weekly, quarterly and annual industry data.
• Oversee core data systems and maintain relationships with growers, packhouses and traders.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and migrate PDFs to interactive formats.
• Prepare graphs, statistics snapshots and tailored reports for stakeholders.
• Support project planning, milestone reporting and budget management.
