Job summary

Versent Pty Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst with strong Power BI capabilities to join our team in Melbourne. You will design reporting solutions, build dashboards, and transform complex data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

You will tackle data modelling, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations while collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams. A supportive, learning-focused culture and access to modern Microsoft data technologies await.

Qualifications

Strong Power BI development experience.
Experience with DAX, Power Query and reporting best practices.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

Analyse and translate business requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Build robust data models and deliver actionable insights for stakeholders.
Provide Power BI administration, support, and troubleshooting.
Develop and optimise DAX calculations and Power Query transformations.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand data needs.
Produce clear documentation and technical artefacts.
Continuously improve reporting, data quality, and analytics capabilities.
