Job summary

The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Data Analyst to uplift analytics capability within the Knowledge Management team. You will contribute to cross-functional initiatives and help shape data usage for decision making across the Bank.

You will drive data operations, lead end-to-end data analysis, and develop dashboards and analytical models that inform strategic and regulatory outcomes. A balance of hands-on analysis and coaching others is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data analysis within a complex environment (financial services or large corporates desirable).
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear insights for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive data operations, pipelines and functions.
• Lead end-to-end data analysis from problem definition to insights and recommendations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models for decision-making.
• Ensure data quality and governance in line with risk standards.
• Provide coaching to junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices.
