Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Data Analyst on a fixed-term 12‑month contract to uplift analytics and drive data‑driven decision making across the organisation. You will lead end‑to‑end data analysis, develop dashboards, collaborate with business stakeholders, and coach junior analysts while upholding data governance and quality standards in a hybrid Sydney workplace.

Qualifications

Experience in data analysis within complex environments, preferably financial services or large corporates.
Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Ability to translate technical findings into clear insights for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive data operations, pipelines and functions.
Lead end-to-end delivery of data analysis from problem definition to insights and recommendations.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical models to support decision‑making.
Ensure data quality, governance and risk standards are maintained.
Provide coaching to junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices.
