Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Data Analyst for a 12‑month contract in Sydney. You will own the BI reporting ecosystem across Tableau and Domo, maintain dashboards, and manage data pipelines in a collaborative environment.

The role partners with CBS data engineers on data modelling and pipeline design to deliver trusted insights for commercial decisions. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data analytics/engineering, strong SQL, and experience with Tableau and Domo, plus Python or R for data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst in a cross-functional environment.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on Tableau and Domo experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills with exposure to cloud data services (GCS/BigQuery/Snowflake).
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and optimise dashboards and data flows; troubleshoot refresh or data quality issues.
• Query and prepare data using SQL in Snowflake and BigQuery; coordinate with CBS data engineers on pipelines.
• Translate stakeholder needs into functional reporting and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain reliable dashboard and pipeline operations for timely decision-making.
• Improve processes, documentation, and data quality; contribute to root cause analysis.
• Support major ANZ initiatives with insight-led reporting and analysis.
